Chris Stadler was appointed as the Director of Student Success programs at WVU Tech in 2017. Prior to joining the Student Success Center, he taught political science for thirteen years at a variety of institutions.
He holds a Ph.D. in Politics from New York University with a focus in American government and political philosophy. He received a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California, and a bachelor of science degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Chris has served in the U.S. Army. The highlight of his career was becoming a sentinel of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys reading, watching classic films, and competing as a masters athlete in national track and field events.
